PETS AND SMOKING
Sadly we can't accommodate pets, and smoking including vaping are NOT allowed in any of the properties. However, we are happy to provide a smoking/vaping area outside for guests to use, and even an umbrella just in case it happens to rain! And we thank you in advance for smoking/vaping outside .
PRICES AND FACILITIES
The price of the accommodation includes: electricity, gas, hot water, central heating, bedding, towels and tea towels, although we request that you bring your own beach towels. Each property has Wifi access and guaranteed parking either outside the property or very close to it. All kitchens are fully equipped for both a short or long stay, and as The Chapel is able to cater for larger groups it has both a refrigerator in the kitchen and a separate fridge/freezer in the utility room. Annie's Cottage and Well Cottage both have a washer/dryer, but in The Chapel there is a separate washing machine and dryer. If there is anything else you would like to known, please feel free to email and ask. Finally we now have a charging point for electric / hybrid vehicles.
A 20% deposit is required within 7 days to secure your booking, with the final payment being made 6 weeks prior to your arrival. Thank you.
CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE
We do appreciate that sometimes circumstances change, and occasionally guests who have made a booking sometimes need to cancel. We therefore strongly suggest that all guests take out a cancellation insurance policy, which is reasonably inexpensive, and can be obtained from any good insurance broker, as once you have booked your holiday with us and sent a deposit, the agreement becomes a legally binding contract and your deposit is non-refundable.
If for whatever reason you cannot take your holiday after sending the final payment, we will do our best to secure another booking. If we are able to re-let the dates we will happily refund you all the money as soon as possible, but if we are not able to re-let those dates, sadly we won’t be able to re-fund the payment, so please do take out holiday insurance.
If you are not able to take your vacation due to a lockdown, you will have the choice of re-booking different dates or a full refund.
NON-AVAILABILITY OF ACCOMMODATION
Occasionally we too could possibly have to cancel your holiday if circumstances arose that were beyond our control, and we were therefore not able to provide the accommodation for you. If this situation did ever occur, we would attempt to offer you alternative dates, however, if this was not possible or was unacceptable to you, we would then refund all monies paid by you for the holiday. Our liability would not extend beyond this refund.
Annie’s Cottage and Well Cottage should be available for guests from 2pm onwards on the day of their arrival. The Chapel however takes a little longer to prepare, but should be available from 3pm onwards on the day of arrival. We look forward to welcoming you.
Departure time for all three properties is 10am to allow us sufficient time to clean each property for our next guests. However, if no guests are expected the same day we are happy to be flexible on the time of departure, as we want you to get the most out of your stay, and that could mean a lie in and a late breakfast/brunch before leaving! We thank you in advance for leaving the property nicely, and the cleaners thank you too!
DAMAGES AND BREAKAGES
Please take care with our properties. You are responsible and liable for any breakages or damages which you cause to the accommodation or its contents. Please report these as soon as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant, and we may make an additional charge if you do not report this.
We do not accept liability for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves, or by our employees, or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment.
Any data collected during the course of this booking may be kept on computer, but this information will not be shared with anyone else, and the good news is that we will not send you any advertising emails either as I don't like getting them so I won't be doing that to you!
